Enrollment at Riverview starts with a phone call to our main office at (207) 729-7399. Each program has its own enrollment contact, outlined in the chart below. Depending on your program of interest you might set up an interview, view a class in session, or bring your group to Riverview for an introduction or a tour.

Universal Movement

Universal Movement is a practice of realistic, effective martial arts for self-defense and character development. The ancient way of spiritual warriorship and personal growth is taught by skilled, professional adult teachers in a nature-based and noncompetitive format.

Children who study the traditional martial arts acquire mental focus, physical health, excellent listening skills and a great start to their character. Physical safety, improved coordination, and excellent behavior are among the many benefits of the program.

Tai Chi

Tai Chi is an ancient art form of relaxed, meditative movement. Renowned for its great health benefits, Tai Chi is a very pleasant practice for a long life. Advanced practice forms a strong foundation for inner growth, self-defense, and improved physical capability and mental acuity.

The Leadership & Resiliency Program offers teen from partnering school districts direct in-school programming to augment their education plans. Including peaceful martial arts,physical fitness, injury prevention, community service, stress mananagement skills, and purposful experiences in nature.

Summer Camp

Summer Day Camps are very popular summertime programs which combine fun with martial arts and nature education. Camps offer parents a great structure to let their children be active and productively engaged. Teens and kids alike return year after year for the great activities and field trips with their friends.

21st CCLC for Youth

The 21st Century Learning Center project through the Dept. of Education is Riverview Foundation's newest project, in direct partnership with the Brunswick School District. More details about this large-scale Mid-Coast initiative will be forthcoming in October of 2008.
